Do both. But dont expect to earn shedloads of isk pirating if you are new to it. Just use it as a bit of fun. You experience the funniest things pirating, especially in a cheap T1 frig. Just do mad stuff and get popped lots. You will end up loving...

Become a pirate. Steal from wrecks. Attack anyone you think you can beat. Steal from cans. Just become a general bad-ass and your PvP encounters will flourish. FW is now available, and you can get a good level of survivability as long as you gang...
